WHY WE EXIST
Children in the foster care system have no voice in the process of being reunified with the family member they were being protected from. Foster parents who fight for adoption are also robbed of any power in these court-ordered reunifications. The decisions mandated by a judge often lead to further abuse, and even death.
We challenge the laws and policies that prioritize unsafe reunification, in order to prevent more of these deaths.
